Hunts
The White-tailed Deer is king at Big Horn Ranch. We carefully manage the herd and offer only a limited number of hunts each year to afford guests with a great chance to harvest a buck that meets their expectations. Big Horn also offers half and full day bird hunts or weekly hunts with lodging and meals provided.
Shooting Range
If you want to test the accuracy of your bow or hone you skills, our range is available for all of our guests. We offer a 3-point range with 20 through 50 yard positions at every point. Our staff can provide instructions and lessons and Big Horn Ranch has bows available to loan to our guests for their entertainment.
The Lodge
As you enter the lodge, you will be greeted as family, and you will be treated as our honored guest. From the foyer, you can’t help but gaze down the long, inviting hallway to view the 20-foot rock fireplace.
Camping
Have a more personal encounter of the rolling hills, trout-filled meandering streams, limestone bluffs, and abundance of wildlife, the Ranch offers while camping on the property. Find that perfect spot, set up your gear and enjoy nature to it's fullest, just remember to bring plenty of stories for the campfire.
Eagle Nests
The Bald Eagle makes it's home on the towering bluffs at The Big Horn Ranch. Eagles can be seen perching, flying or soaring, and snatching a fish or waterfowl from the creek.
Trout Fishing
If you like the thrill of landing a Rainbow Trout with a fly rod, Big Mike's Creek at the Big Horn Ranch is for you. Anglers will be excited to fish the 1 ½ miles of trout stream with its deep pools along native limestone bluffs.
Trail Hiking
Nestled in the beautiful Ozark mountains, the Big Horn Ranch offers abundant hiking opportunities. Guided by a ranch expert, weave your way along Big Mike’s Creek or work you way through the winding trails as you catch glimpses of native birds and animals.
