Meals
John is a wonderful cook and he’s extremely accommodating. We ask that you notify the ranch
in advance of any special dietary considerations (diets, allergies, health considerations) so that we
can plan accordingly.
Chefs: Upon request, the ranch can bring in guest chefs for a special dinner such a food and wine pairing.
Dinner events: Ask us about our outdoor BBQ events, pack a picnic, fish for your lunch and
cowboy campfire cooking. Fun for the whole family.
Gear
Guests should plan to bring casual, outdoor clothing appropriate for the season and their selected
activities. For all of our activities like fishing, riflery/trap shooting, hunting and archery, we have
all the gear you will need. If you are not sure whether or not to bring certain items, call the Ranch
to double-check. Guests are invited to bring their own equipment, if they prefer. Guests may access
our on-site gun safe for special belongings.
Items to remember
Hiking boots
Heeled boots, jeans and helmets for horseback riding:
Many parents prefer that their children wear helmets while horseback riding and some
adults wear them, too. Your helmet should be ASTM/SEI certified to ensure proper safety for
horseback riding and you should NEVER use a bike helmet.
Hats and sunglasses for sun protection
Swimming Suits for the pool and hot tub
Rain jackets
Camera
Binoculars
Day pack and water bottle
